I've got a number of half-finished drafts in my text folder waiting to turn into blog posts, but lately just haven't been up to posting anything really substantial. But I am still here and will definitely be working on getting those posts publishable.
For now, though, I leave you with a picture of my cats:

Is it just me, or have Brodie and Coraline doubled in size since the first picture of them you posted? :D
Enjoying all the posts, kitty pictures are always a nice enjoyment!
Since I've been lurking/reading your blog for a while I wanted to say hi, and was hoping if you wouldn't mind me asking you some advise on blogger layouts since.
Rather new and not satisfied with the layouts I've been able to find :(
Thanks, hope all is well,
Diotrik
Tera: No, it's not just you...they have in fact more than doubled in size! When I first adopted Coraline and Brodie back in October they were only about 7 weeks old, and weighed a little over 2 pounds each. Now Cora is almost five pounds and Brodie is a little over (and Shadow is actually nearly 6 lbs!).
Kittens grow VERY fast if they're properly nourished...which these certainly are.
Shadow was actually a little underweight for his size when we first got him (the other, bigger cats outside kept scaring him away from the food!) but he caught up really fast once we brought him in, and I now think he's probably going to be the largest as an adult out of all of them (the next largest being Brodie, who is sort of long and lanky, making Cora the smallest; she's like this little compact kitty, but they're all supposedly a healthy size now for their age according to the vet).
Wait till one of them (most likely Shadow) asks, "I can has Singularity?"
OT, a bit. I have some cat-psych problems. I am lonesome for Net company. My blog is back up. (enemiesofthelibrary.blogspot.com)
Would you look at my latest post, titled "Dead Rat", and deign to leave a comment, Ma'am?
I'd ask Miss Baggs, as I consider her The Cat Expert, but don't wish to annoy her with something like this, knowing that she has more Serious Business to take care of.
They are all looking very happy. I have been feeling the same way about writing lately. I have been more into readingm books.
Please? Pretty Please?
justthisguy: geez hold on. I have been dealing with a pre and post-operative kitten all day (Cora had her spaying surgery and is currently alternating between laying around dopily and running all over the place and I have to monitor her to make sure she doesn't lick the incision excessively. So while I sympathize with whatever is going on with you cat-wise, I don't know when I will be able to comment.
Sorry about that, Ma'am! I'll try to be patient, not that I was ever very much good at that. You may have noticed as much.
All the best, Jtg, AKA Agent 86.
(update to JTG: I commented now, check your blog)
Thanks for your and Miss Baggs's help, Ma'am! As I just posted on my blog, the kitties seem to have sorted out the problem among themselves while I was distracted by human concerns. At least, I hope that's what happened. I haven't seen the previous kitty around here for a few days.
